NHER 66166 (Monument record) - Undated ditch

February-March 2017. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey of site on possible route of Hornsea Project Three offshore wind farm onshore cable (GS06).
This site was one of 26 identified as a priority for examination due to their archaeological potential.
The survey identified nothing of definite archaeological interest. The most notable responses are a cluster of discrete positive anomalies at the southern edge of the site, although it is suggested these are potentially natural in origin.
Scattered discrete dipolar 'spikes' and larger areas of weak magnetic disturbance are probably the result of ferrous material on or close to the surface (most likely modern debris).

Environmental Impact Assessment of the potential impacts of the proposed Hornsea Project Three offshore wind farm on the historic environment. This study incorporated the results of an initial walkover survey and the first phases of geophysical survey.

Evaluation of site on proposed route of Hornsea Project Three offshore wind farm onshore cable (P1TT06; Trench 29-33).
The majority of the five trenches excavated at this location revealed no archaeologically-significant remains, with only an undated north-west to south-east aligned ditch recorded. No finds were recovered.
