Summary

A geophysical survey of this site in 2021/2022 recorded nothing of obvious archaeological significance. A number of discrete anomalies are regarded as being of undetermined origin so may represent infilled pit-type features, although a natural origin is also possible. Subsequent trial trenching in 2022 had entirely negative results with no features identified.
