November 2021-March 2022. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey of site on proposed route of Hornsea Project Three offshore wind farm onshore cable (Areas 3203 and 3205).
This survey recorded nothing of definite archaeological significance. The only response of note is a short north-north-west to south-south-east aligned linear anomaly regarded as being of undetermined origin. This may represent an infilled ditch, although a natural origin is also possible. The majority of the other anomalies recorded were likely to be the result of either recent agricultural activity or natural variations in the soils or underlying geology.
Information from draft report. Final version awaited.
