Summary

A geophysical survey of this site in 2021/2022 recorded a number of linear and discrete anomalies, although these were all regarded as being of undermined origin and therefore not necessarily of archaeological interest.

Environmental Impact Assessment of the potential impacts of the proposed Hornsea Project Three offshore wind farm on the historic environment. This study incorporated the results of an initial walkover survey and the first phases of geophysical survey.

November 2021-March 2022. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey of site on proposed route of Hornsea Project Three offshore wind farm onshore cable (Area 62).
This survey identified nothing of definite archaeological interest. Although a number of fragmentary linear anomalies and several strong discrete anomalies were recorded these are all regarded as being of undetermined origin.
