Full Description
November 2021-March 2022. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey of sites on proposed route of Hornsea Project Three offshore wind farm onshore cable (Areas 65, 6501 and 6502).
A number of discrere and linear anomalies were identified, all of which are regarded as being of undetermined origin. Whilst it is possible some represent archaeologically-significant remain a natural origin is equally (if not more) likely.
The margins of all three areas were obscured by extensive magnetic disturbance.
Information from draft report. Final version awaited.
