Summary

A geophysical survey of this area in 2021/2022 identified a number of linear and discrete anomalies that may represent archaeologically-significant remains. All were though regarded as being of uncertain origin and it is possible that some or all were caused by variations in the soils or underlying geology.

Magnetometer survey of sites on proposed route of Hornsea Project Three offshore wind farm onshore cable (Areas 65, 6501 and 6502).
A number of discrere and linear anomalies were identified, all of which are regarded as being of undetermined origin. Whilst it is possible some represent archaeologically-significant remain a natural origin is equally (if not more) likely.
The margins of all three areas were obscured by extensive magnetic disturbance.
