February-June 2022. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of site on proposed route of Hornsea Project Three offshore wind farm onshore cable (P2TT99; Trenches 809-811).
The three trenches excavated at this location revealed two undated sub-circular pits. The fill of one of these features contained flecks of charcoal and fragments of burnt clay. A sample from this deposit was found to contain only a large quantity of charcoal fragments.
