Metal-detecting at this location in 2022 recovered an Early Neolithic flint end scraper; a probable unfinished Neolithic flint knife; a Roman pottery sherd; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons; post-medieval tokens and a number of other metal objects, including an undated lead weight; Middle Bronze Age socketed spearhead fragments; a Middle/Late Bronze Age sword fragment; a Roman brooch; an Early Saxon brooch and a post-medieval dress fastener/clasp and toy musket.
