Summary

Brick walls with semi-circular coping tiles enclosing the forecourt of Dovecot House (formerly Dovecot and Dovecot Farm) Church Road, Walpole St Peter (NHER 13280). The walls are paired with a gateway of square brick gate piers topped with stone ball finals carved with Tudor roses.

Listing Description:
Walls. Partly late C16, rebuilt C18. Brick. Square gate piers with ball finials with Tudor roses. Walls run north and east to enclose forecourt in front of house. Walls of indeterminate bond with semi-circular coping tiles.

Visual assessment in poor light.
Inspection suggests that the stone finials topping the brick gate piers are of recent date.
