Full Description
August 2017. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey of site of proposed ground loop to supply ground source heating for East Raynham Hall (NHER 2368).
This survey revealed no responses of potential archaeological significance.
The only anomaly of note relates to a disused water pipe known to have fed a now redundant water storage tank.
See report (S1) for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 12 December 2022.
November 2018. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with installation of ground source heat pump. The various trenches excavated for low and high voltage electrical cable were sufficiently deep to encounter natural geological deposits but no archaeologically-significant remains were recorded. It was though noted that the narrow width of the trenches (c.0.2m) will have hampered the recognition of any remains present.
No finds were recovered.
Information from draft report. Final version awaited.
