Summary

Metal-detecting in 2017 recovered Early Neolithic and Neolithic/Bronze Age worked flints; a medieval pottery sherd and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include medieval buckle frames and a pot mend; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel sherds, buttons and a thimble and a post-medieval toy plate.

Full Description

February-May 2017. Metal-detecting. [1].
Early Neolithic flint flake.
Neolithic/Bronze Age flint scraper and probable core.
1 medieval pottery sherd, buckle frames and a pot mend.
Medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel sherds, buttons and a thimble.
Post-medieval toy plate.
These objects were previously recorded under NHER 30944
Information from PAS import.
These finds were recorded as being found at [2] (NHER 62277) but coming from NHER 30944. It has been impossible to satisfactorily reconcile the inconsistency between NHER number and grid reference so they have been allocated their own record. See NHER 30944 for five other objects handed in for recording at the same time but with consistent NHER number and grid reference.
