Scoulton Landing Ground/RFC Scoulton.

According to the Airfields of Britain Conservation Trust website (S1) a Home Defence landing ground was in operation at Scoulton throughout much of 1917. This would have been available to various fighter types of No 51 Squadron but it is unclear how much use it actually saw. Any facilities present would have been fairly basic - most likely limited to a pilot's hut.
The exact location of this airfield is not currently known, although it was presumably in or near the parish of Scoulton.
