Summary

The cropmarks of a probable Bronze Age ring ditch are seen on aerial photographs. The ring ditch most likely relates to the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. The ring ditch appears to overlay a U-shaped feature which may have related to an earlier Neolithic oval enclosure or long barrow (NHER 65647).

The cropmarks of a probable Bronze Age ring ditch are seen on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The ring ditch most likely relates to the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. The ring ditch appears to overlay a U-shaped feature which may have related to an earlier Neolithic oval enclosure or long barrow (NHER 65647).
This feature was previously recorded as part of NHER 24979.
