Map

The below feature was previously recorded as part of NHER 24979.

June 2022. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of a rectilinear enclosure of a possible medieval to post medieval date are seen on aerial photographs (S1-S5). The date of the enclosure is uncertain although a medieval to post medieval date is possible. A gap in the ditch is visible at TG 2275 2780 and may relate to a possible entranceway. However, it is also possible that the gap in the ditch may be the result of how the feature is showing as a cropmark. The enclosure is in close proximity to an area of possible medieval to post medieval field boundaries and trackways (NHER 24979).
