Map

July 2022. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Linear ditch features of an uncertain date are seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S2). It is possible that the features may relate to former boundary ditches of an uncertain date. Geological cropmarks can be seen across the area, and it is possible that some of the mapped features may be geological in origin. The cropmarks of post medieval boundary ditches recorded in on the readily available historic maps (such as S3) are also visible. As these features have been recorded in good detail on the historic maps, they have not been mapped as part of this project.
