Linear ditch features most likely relating to post medieval field boundaries are seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S3). It’s possible that some of the features may be earlier, possibly Medieval, in date. Cropmarks of post medieval field boundaries recorded on the readily available historic maps (for example S4) are also visible on the consulted sources. These features have not been mapped as they are recorded in good detail on the historic maps.
