Summary

The cropmarks of a probable Bronze Age ring ditch are seen on aerial photographs. The ring ditch most likely relates to the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. The ring ditch may form part of a Bronze Age barrow cemetery (NHER 66789) along with the cropmarks of further probable Bronze Age ring ditches recorded in the vicinity.

The cropmarks of a probable Bronze Age ring ditch are seen on aerial photographs (S1-S4). The ring ditch most likely relates to the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. An extant modern field boundary can be seen cutting the ring ditch on the later (2006 and 2010) aerial photographs (S2-S4). The ring ditch may form part of a Bronze Age barrow cemetery (NHER 66789) along with the cropmarks of further probable Bronze Age ring ditches recorded in the vicinity.
