Full Description
July 2022. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of a probable Bronze Age ring ditch are seen on aerial photographs (S1-S5). The ring ditch most likely relates to the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. The ring ditch is cut by an extant post medieval to modern field boundary. The ring ditch may form part of a Bronze Age barrow cemetery (NHER 66789) along with the cropmarks of further probable Bronze Age ring ditches recorded in the vicinity.
This feature was previously recorded as part of NHER 21834
