Map

August 2022. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of a possible elongated Neolithic oval enclosure are seen on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The feature may relate to the site of a possible Neolithic oval barrow, long barrow, or mortuary enclosure. The feature is seen within a dense area of geological cropmarks, and it is therefore possible that the feature may be natural rather than archaeological in origin. The site of a further possible Neolithic long barrow at Tuttington (NHER 31740) has also been recorded approximately 390m to the east.
