Map

The below features were previously recorded as part of NHER 31740.

August 2022. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A series of probable medieval to post medieval field boundaries are seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S5). The probable field boundaries in the east of the record (centred at TG 2351 2684) are in close proximity to the cropmarks of a possible later prehistoric trackway (NHER 65492) and the site of a possible Neolithic long barrow (NHER 31740). It is possible that some of the features in the east of the record could be earlier than medieval to post medieval in date. The cropmarks of post medieval boundaries recorded on the readily available historic maps (for example S6) are also visible on the consulted sources. These features have not been mapped as they are recorded in good detail on the historic maps.
