July 2020. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed development site.
The twelve trenches excavated revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits.
The site had potentially seen at least a degree of plough truncation, with dense arrangements of plough marks visible in the subsoil. This subsoil deposit was present in all of the trenches.
No finds were recovered.
