Full Description
Boundary wall and associated gateway at northern side of Oxburgh Hall Park (NHER 30479). Previously recorded (in error) under NHER 11408.
October 1985. Listed, Grade II*.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Possibly late medieval with important early 19th-century remodelling. Brick with some stone and moulded brick dressings. The wall has a chamfered plinth and crenellations with moulded brick copings…
Gate piers and gates. Piers in brick with raised stone angles and stone cornices with a pair of carved finials representing the Bedingfeld eagle. Contemporary iron gates."
