Summary

This square tower associated with the northern boundary of Oxburgh Hall Park potentially dates to the late medieval period. It has a late medieval quatrefoil window and 19th-century moulded brick arched corbel tables and a stepped crenellated parapet. The tower is listed Grade II*, along with the adjacent sections of boundary wall (NHER 66886).

Tower associated with wall forming northern boundary of Oxburgh Hall Park (NHER 30479). Previously recorded (in error) under NHER 11408.

October 1985. Listed, Grade II*.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Possibly late medieval with important early 19th-century remodelling….The tower is square in plan and has a late-medieval quatrefoil window at mid height. 19th-century moulded brick arched corbel tables and a stepped crenellated parapet..."

The tower was listed together with the sections of boundary wall that extend to either side and the gateway to the east - these are now recorded separately as NHER 66886.
