Summary

A watching brief maintained during the construction of a new cycle path at this location in 2018 recorded no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. The associated groundworks were however very shallow, exposing only recently lain modern deposits.

Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of new cycle path across the line of the medieval city wall (NHER 384).
The stripping of the route of the new path exposed only recently lain modern deposits.
No finds were recovered.
