Summary

Metal-detecting at this location in 2022 recovered a small late medieval/early post-medieval coin hoard of six silver coins. These coins had probably been deposited during the 1530s or early 1540s.

Late medieval/early post-medieval coin hoard of 6 silver coins. These coins are all groats or double patards and were probably deposited in the 1530s or early 1540s, before Henry VIII's debasement of the coinage commensed in 1544.
