Summary

A three-storey red brick and black pantile house constructed around 1790. This building features a range of five sash windows on the first floor and smaller sash windows on the second floor. It was converted to shops in the 20th century and was fitted with two plate-glass display windows in 1962, when the ground floor was rebuilt.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House, now shops and flat. c.1790, converted [in] 20th century. Red brick; roof of black-glazed pantiles.
Exterior: 3 storeys in 5-window range. Ground floor rebuilt 1962 and fitted with two plate-glass display windows. Five 2/2 unhorned sashes to first floor under rendered and painted gauged skewback arches. Five similar but smaller second-floor sashes. Dentil eaves cornice. Gabled roof with rear ridge stack and internal gable-end stacks north and south, the latter rebuilt [in] 20th century. Interior: no features of special interest noted on ground floor, upper floors not inspected."
