Map

August 2023. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A possible ring ditch of unknown but potentially Bronze Age date is visible as faint and fragmentary cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1). If archaeological in origin, it could represent the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. A larger double ring ditch, visible as a cropmark 65m to the northwest (NHER 17237), is probably the site of round barrow of this date.
