Map

July 2021. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The remains of a possible former post medieval boundary bank are seen as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1). The cropmark bank is east-west aligned and may relate to a former post medieval boundary bank. The feature is not seen on the historic maps (S2-S4) and its possible that the feature may be earlier in date. The feature abuts the cropmark of a north-south aligned post medieval boundary bank (centred at TG1342 2219) to the east. The north-south bank is mapped in good detail on the historic maps (S2-S4) and has not been mapped as part of this project. It is possible that the east-west feature may be the result of the spread from the modern ploughing of the post medieval bank to the east or a natural feature.
