Summary

Metal-detecting at this location in 2021 recovered a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead fragment; a Roman brooch; a Late Saxon/medieval lead spindle whorl; a medieval buckle and chape from dagger sheath or sword scabbard and a post-medieval strap end, chape from dagger sheath or rapier scabbard and copper alloy unidentified decorated object.
