Map

June 2022. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of a probable Bronze Age ring ditch are seen on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The ring ditch most likely relates to the site of a former Bronze Age round barrow. Possible pit features (not mapped) can be seen within the interior of the ring ditch. It is likely that pit features relate to geological cropmarks; however, it is possible that some of the features may be archaeological in origin. A smaller probable Bronze Age ring ditch (NHER 65631) is visible approximately 5m to the east.
