Summary

The cropmarks of a probable Bronze Age ring ditch are seen on aerial photographs. The ring ditch most likely relates to the site of a former Bronze Age round barrow. The ring ditch appears to be cut by the cropmarks of a post-medieval boundary recorded on the First Edition Ordnance survey map.

The cropmarks of a probable Bronze Age ring ditch are seen on aerial photographs (S1). The ring ditch most likely relates to the site of a former Bronze Age round barrow. The ring ditch appears to be cut by the cropmarks of a post-medieval boundary (not mapped as part of this project) recorded on the First Edition Ordnance survey map (S2). A further possible Bronze Age ring ditch (NHER 64285) is seen as a cropmark approximately 220m to the north west.
