Summary

A systematic survey of part of this field in 2013/2014 recovered prehistoric worked flints (including ?Mesolithic/Early Neolithic blades, a Neolithic/Bronze Age spurred piece and Middle Bronze Age to Iron Age scraper); a Roman pottery sherd; a post-medieval clay tobacco pipe fragment; a Roman coin and a post-medieval/modern cast lead ?toy.

Survey of proposed route of Dudgeon Offshore Windfarm onshore cable (Field 194).
Finds recovered at this location included:
1 prehistoric flint flake.
2 ?Mesolithic/Early Neolithic flint blades.
1 Neolithic/Bronze Age flint spurred piece.
1 Middle Bronze Age to Iron Age flint scraper.
1 Roman coin and 1 pottery sherd.
1 post-medieval clay tobacco pipe fragment.
1 post-medieval/modern cast lead ?toy.
1 undatable fragment of ceramic building material.
