Full Description
June 2022. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of a possible Neolithic oval enclosure are seen on aerial photographs (S1). The feature may have related to a possible Neolithic oval barrow or mortuary enclosure. The western section of the feature is possibly overlain by a later field boundary (NHER 36455). The feature is seen within a dense area of geological cropmarks, and it is therefore possible that the feature may be natural rather than archaeological in origin.
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 15 June 2022.
