Full Description
July 2013-April 2014. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Survey of proposed route of Dudgeon Offshore Windfarm onshore cable (Field 187).
Finds recovered at this location included:
1 prehistoric flint scraper and 1 spurred piece.
1 ?Roman to medieval copper alloy object in form of decorated sword hilt - potentially a Roman miniature, although its form make a later date more likely. Possibly a toy.
1 post-medieval lead alloy mount.
See report (S1) for further details.
