Summary

A systematic survey of part of this field in 2013/2014 recovered prehistoric worked flints; undatable burnt flints; a possible Roman coin and a small number of other metal objects, including a possible Roman brooch fragment; a post-medieval lead palm guard and an undatable unidentified lead object.

Survey of proposed route of Dudgeon Offshore Windfarm onshore cable (Field 190).
Finds recovered at this location included:
2 undatable burnt flints and 1 unidentified lead object (possibly once a bag seal).
1 prehistoric flint flake.
1 Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age flint thumbnail scraper.
1 ?Roman coin and 1 ?brooch.
1 post-medieval lead leather worker's palm guard.
