Summary

Archaeological work at this location prior to and during the installation of the electrical connection for an offshore windfarm revealed no evidence for archaeologically-significant remains. An initial geophysical survey identified no anomalies of potentially archaeological significance and a subsequently excavated trial trench all revealed no evidence for sub-surface remains. A watching brief maintained during the actual installation of the electrical cable also recorded nothing of archaeological interest.
