Map

July 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Probable medieval ridge and furrow and field boundaries are seen as earthworks (since levelled) on aerial photographs (S1). The features may have been part of a wider medieval field system. Although the features are likely to be medieval in date, it is possible that some of the features could date to the post medieval period. The feature can be seen as earthworks in the 1940s (S1) and have been levelled by the 1970s (S2). Some of the features are visible as cropmarks on recent (2006) aerial photographs (S3).
