Map

June 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Earthwork ditches (which have since been levelled), possibly relating to post medieval boundaries or drainage ditches, are seen on aerial photographs. A large post medieval to modern drain (not mapped) can be seen running through the centre of the site. The mapped features do not appear to be as recent as the central drain on the aerial photographs. It is possible that the mapped features could relate to earlier probable post medieval boundaries or possibly out of use post medieval drains. The features can be seen as earthworks on S1 and appear to have been levelled by the 1970s (S2)
