Summary

In 1970 a scatter of Roman pottery and iron smelting slag was identified at this location. Similar material has also been recovered approximately 200m to the north (NHER 3303).

Roman "pot[tery], iron bloom and waste".
12 pottery sherds donated to King's Lynn Museum (KILLM : 1970.57 and KILLM : 1971.59).
This discovery was reported in (S1).
Information from Ordnance Survey records.
Previously noted under NHER 3303, which lies approximately 200m to the north-west, on the opposite side of the Castle Rising/Roydon parish boundary.
