Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions commemorating the servicemen of Bedingham. The memorial is in the form of a wheel-head cross made of granite. It was erected around 1920.

Location: Churchyard of St Andrew’s Church, Church Road, Bedingham
Type: Wheel-head Cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a wheel-head cross made of granite. It sits on a four-stepped base and is surrounded by a low kerb with eight small metal posts linked by chains. The top three steps hold the inscriptions, whilst the bottom step is made of a different material.

Unveiled: Assumed planned and erected around 1920, when the majority of Norfolk’s war memorials were commissioned. Additional research required.
