Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions commemorating the servicemen of Earsham. The memorial is in the form of a wheel-head cross made of granite. It was unveiled on 8 August 1920.

Location: Junction of The Street and Station Road, Earsham
Type: Wheel-head Cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a wheel-head cross made of granite. The front face of the cross head is decorated with circular relief carvings on the arms and centre. The cross has a thin shaft and a stepped foot. The cross is placed on a tapering plinth on top of a three-step base. The base is placed on a square platform. The original inscription is placed on the lower half of the cross shaft with WW1 names placed on the plinth. The final dedication is placed on the top step of the base. The WW2 addition is on the east face of the plinth.
