Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions commemorating the servicemen of the parishes of east and west Wretham, erected around 1920. It is in the form of a Latin cross constructed of limestone.

Location: Church Lane, Wretham
Type: Latin Cross
Description: A memorial commemorating the fallen of WW1 and WW2 of Wretham. It is in the form of a Latin cross made of limestone. It stands on a square plinth on top of a two-stepped base. The south face of the plinth holds the first lines of the war inscriptions, with the north face reading ‘their name liveth for evermore’. There is a slate plaque set at the base of the plinth in 1985 that commemorates a visit of the 359th fighter group.
