Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions commemorating the fallen servicemen of Halvergate and Tunstall. The memorial is in the form of a shrouded urn made of brown granite. It was unveiled on 8 August 1920.

Location: Junction of Sandhole Road and The Street, Halvergate
Type: Shrouded Urn
Description: The memorial is in the form of a shrouded urn on top of a four-sided column made of brown granite. The column stands on a grey base. The principal inscription is on the front face of the column, with WW1 names on either side, and the WW2 additions on the back face. The memorial is surrounded by gated metal fencing.

Unveiled: Sunday 8 August 1920 and dedicated by the rector of Acle, Reverend J. Blackbourne.
