Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two addition commemorating the fallen servicemen of Foxley. The memorial is in the form of an obelisk made of Portland stone. It was constructed around 1920.

Location: Junction of A1067 (Norwich Road) and Old Fakenham Road, Foxley
Type: Obelisk
Description: The memorial is in the form of an obelisk made of Portland stone. The obelisk sits on a four-sided plinth on top of a three-step base. The inscription is on the front face of the plinth and the dedication on the top step of the base. The WW2 inscription is added on a side face of the plinth. The memorial is surrounded by iron railings.
