Summary

A World War One memorial commemorating the servicemen of Mautby. The memorial is in the form of a calvary cross made of limestone. It was dedicated in 1920.

Location: St Peter and St Paul’s Churchyard, Church Lane, Mautby
Type: Calvary Cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a Calvary cross made of limestone. The calvary has a canopy above it. The cross has an octagonal shaft with a moulded collar. It sits on top of a four-sided plinth on top of a corniced step. Below this, there is a concrete foundation. The inscription is placed on the plinth faces.
