Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions commemorating the servicemen of Banham. The memorial is in the form of a Latin cross made of Portland stone. It was unveiled on 12 December 1920.

Location: The Green, Church Lane, Banham
Type: Latin cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a Latin cross made of Portland stone. On the head of the cross is a bronze Sword of Sacrifice facing downwards. The cross has an octagonal shaft and sits atop an octagonal plinth. The plinth is placed on a three-step base. The original inscriptions were placed on the plinth faces but plaques have been added over the originals.
