Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions commemorating the servicemen of Yaxham. The memorial is in the form of a gabled cross made of Clipsham stone. It was unveiled in September 1919.

Location: St Peter’s Churchyard, Church Lane, Yaxham
Type: Gabled Cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a gabled cross made of Clipsham stone. The cross is approximately 16 feet tall. There is a gabled hood on top of the cross head. The hexagonal cross shaft connects to a base. The base sits atop a plinth on top of a three-step base. The inscriptions are placed on the plinth faces.
