Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions commemorating the servicemen of Aylmerton. The memorial is in the form of a Latin cross made of limestone. It was constructed in 1921.

Location: Churchyard of St John the Baptist Church, Church Road, Aylmerton
Type: Latin Cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a Latin cross made of limestone. The cross head holds a carved relief of a sword and laurel wreath. The cross is placed on a square plinth on top of a base. The main inscription is placed on the front face of the plinth, with names and the WW2 addition placed on the other faces.
