Full Description
September 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Part of the parish boundary between Gressenhall and Wendling, which is of at least post medieval but potentially earlier date, is visible as a low earthwork ditch on visualised lidar data (S1). It corresponds with the line of the boundary depicted on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch map (S2). As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently (2017) it is probable that the earthwork still survives.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 17 September 2023.
