Full Description
October 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Boundary ditches, probably of medieval to post medieval date and perhaps defining fields or paddocks, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S1) and visualised lidar data (S2). It is clear from the lidar data that the earthworks have mostly been levelled, although a few elements still survived at the time the survey was flown (2017).
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 6 October 2023.
