Map

September 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A probable post medieval field boundary can be seen as an earthwork on recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S1). The boundary is not depicted on any readily accessible historical maps (such as S2), but fits the same general pattern of enclosure, suggesting that although an earlier origin cannot be ruled out, the boundary is likely of a post-medieval date. As the feature is visible as an earthwork on the recent (2017) visualised lidar, it is likely that the feature still survives as an earthwork.
